Welcome and general introduction
Peter Ramge
Peter Ramge is Senior Medical Affairs Manager at Roche Diagnostics International, working in coagulation and the
cobas t 511/711 platforms. His scientific interests include the impact of new haemophilia treatment options on diagnostic assays and recent developments in biomarkers for coagulation disorders.

He is a trained pharmacist (University of Mainz, Germany), holds a M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Medicine (University of Witten/Herdecke, Germany) and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. Prior to joining Roche Diagnostics, he was working for Danish drug maker Novo Nordisk’s haemophilia franchise, Sanofi and Boots Healthcare.

Introduction of the system- cobas t 511/711
Alexandros Fistouris
Alexandros Fistouris is an MBA awarded Biomedical Engineer with an extensive international experience in the healthcare industry acquired through global marketing and commercial positions in various international companies. He is an international expert in Hemostasis testing with a focused experience in the coagulation market. His professional career started in 2005 and until 2011 he worked in the distributor of Werfen (IL) in Athens, Greece in various commercial and marketing positions. In 2012 he moved to Milan where he worked for Werfen (IL International) as International Product Manager responsible for the distributors’ business in emerging countries. 

Since 2015 he has been working for Roche Diagnostics International in Switzerland as International Product Manager where he was responsible for the global Launch of the cobas t coagulation analyzers (cobas t 411, cobas t 511 and cobas t 711).

In his free time he enjoys playing the piano and taking part in theatre performances.

Workflow efficiency in coagulation
Ulrich Budde
Prof. Ulrich Budde heads the Hematology section at Asklepios Labs, Altona and works in the Department of Transfusion Medicine and Hematology. Asklepios Labs serves as a diagnostic laboratory for other laboratories and clinics in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Denmark.

While the primary hemostasis (VWF tests and platelet function tests) and TTP (ADAMTDS13 tests) are the main focus of work, all other common tests are performed in the Hematology department. Daily routine samples are received from seven Hospitals belonging to the Asklepios group in Hamburg, Germany.

Prof. Budde has 302 research works with 8339 citations and 1495 reads to his credit.

Scientific interests: Phenotype genotype relations in von Willebrand disease, Acquired von Willebrand disease, Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, Heparin induced thrombocytopenic purpura. Scientific awards 1986: Johann Lukas Schönlein Award
